The Historic Magnolia Manor is a full service wedding venue. All wedding packages can be designed to meet the unique needs of any bride. Because we are located on thirteen secluded acres, we can offer you outstanding privacy and gracious room for your wedding celebration.

Saturday Wedding Event
150 guests $12,600

Exclusive use of the garden lawns, barn, pavilion, our charming white gazebo, large wedding arbor and permitted parts of the historic John Watson House. Set up and break down of tables and chairs for ceremony and reception, including banquet tables needed for the guest book, gifts and cake.


Your choice of ceremony location.
White ceremony chairs to accommodate up to 200 guests.
Fully furnished 18th century style Brides Parlor and Groom’s Suite. Suites will remain available throughout your event for photos, touch ups, private restroom for bride and groom, etc.
Ceremony and Day of Wedding Coordinator. The Ceremony Coordinator is here for the rehearsal (1-3 days before, or the day of) for 1 hour, and then back on the day of the event to assist the bride and groom. Coordinator will remain for the duration of the event. If you wish to use your own Wedding Planner/Coordinator instead, you may do so.
Free parking for you and your guests. A parking attendant will be present to guide your guests.


4 hours of reception time. Additional hours available at an extra cost.
Full use of the Pavilion and the Barn.
Complete course dinner selection from the catering menu with full wait staff.
Bar tender included but the alcohol is extra. We can provide a quote for alcohol or you can opt to bring your own and we will store and serve it for you.
Round tables with white linen and white chairs to seat up to 200 guests.
Small wood décor and candles center pieces

Available space for the DJ both, Bar and Dance floor. Pavilion has ceiling fans and heat lamps if needed. Outdoor restrooms for Men and Women with handicap access and a baby changing table. We also have a small playground available for the kids.


Full access to the outdoor grounds (13 acres) for photography. Photos can also be taken with limited access inside the historic home.

Duration of Event

All Events to be booked between the hours of 11am and 11pm, up to a 9 hour rental period. If you need to extend it longer, please inquire and book this in advance.

Reservation Deposit

A non-refundable deposit, which is applied to the Venue Rental total, is required to reserve your date. The amount of the deposit is equal to 25% of the total estimated event total. A Total of 50% must be received six months prior to your event date. 100%of the final estimated balance is due fourteen (14) business days prior to the event date.


All events are required to meet a minimum expenditure. Minimums may vary due to date, time or size of the event. Room minimums do not include service charge, state sales tax or ceremony fees. The requirements are quoted prior to booking the event and are stated in the Catering Confirmation Agreement. For minimum requirements for an event under consideration, please contact the Catering Department. *A 15% Service Charge and current State Sales Tax will be added. The Service Charge is taxable in the State of North Carolina.

House Rules

Guests are not permitted to roam inside the Watson House. Guests may only smoke in designated areas using the proper disposal receptacles.


Free parking for you and your guests. A parking attendant will be present to guide your guests.


The expected attendance must be specified to the Event Sales Department no later than ten (10) business days prior to your event. This number is considered a guarantee, not subject to reduction, and is the minimum number for which you will be charged. If no guarantee is received within this period, you will be charged based on the number of persons estimated on your Banquet Event Order. If your actual attendance is greater than your guarantee, you will be charged for the additional guests.


No tape, nails, tacks, confetti, glitter or bird seed are allowed. Floral arrangements need to be in a finished state. Removal of all decorations, equipment and floral arrangements are the responsibility of the host immediately following the event.

Wedding Cake

Please request a take home box for the cake top and décor from your baker as well as any leftover cake if you are intending to take it home with you. The cake may be delivered nor more than two (2) hours prior to start time.

Vendor Deliveries

Deliveries of any kind must be on the premises not more than two (2) hours or less than one (1) hour prior to the start of the event. The Historic Magnolia Manor has limited storage and cooler space.
